Dedicated to sustainable investing
The EdenTree Sustainable Global Equity Fund is an actively managed fund that invests in listed global equities, targeting long-term capital growth with an income over five years or more.
It seeks to invest at least 80% in companies that the manager classifies as sustainable, which are making a positive contribution to both people and planet. In order to demonstrate this positive contribution, companies must pass our stringent sustainability assessment, the EdenTree Standard.
The Fund’s value approach is exemplified by its ethos "sustainability at a reasonable price", which differentiates it from its growth-style peers. It aims to align with this ethos by conducting in-depth research and exploiting market inefficiencies. It also aims to engage closely with investees to accelerate progress towards best-in-class practices, including supporting a low-carbon future for the world economy.
The value of an investment and the income from it can fall as well as rise as a result of market and currency fluctuations, you may not get back the amount you originally invested. Selecting stocks due to our ethical criteria means that the choice of stocks is limited to a subset of the stock market and this could lead to greater volatility.
