EdenTree Sustainable Short Dated Bond Fund

Sustainability Focus

Request A Call Back

Dedicated to sustainable investing

The EdenTree Sustainable Short Dated Bond Fund aims to preserve capital and generate a regular level of income, payable quarterly, by investing in a diversified portfolio of high-quality corporate bonds, with an average credit rating of A or above.

The Fund seeks to invest at least 70% in organisations that the manager classifies as sustainable, which are making a positive contribution to both people and planet. In order to demonstrate this positive contribution, organisations must pass our stringent sustainability assessment, the EdenTree Standard.

Our investment approach focuses on good-quality, short-dated credits with attractive yields. When choosing bonds to invest in, the Fund’s management team analyse fundamentals, management quality and debt covenants to gauge profitability, cash flow generation and leverage. The team also uses its strong relationships with banks and brokers to keep them in touch with opportunities and informed of issuance.

The value of an investment and the income from it can fall as well as rise as a result of market and currency fluctuations, you may not get back the amount you originally invested.

Investing for a better tomorrow

The EdenTree Sustainable Short Dated Bond Fund was launched in 2017 and has been managed by David Katimbo-Mugwanya, EdenTree's Head of Fixed Income, since its inception.
