EdenTree achieves a fully SDR-labelled fund range

We are proud to announce that all EdenTree funds now carry an SDR label – either Sustainability Impact or Sustainability Focus.

In line with this milestone, we’ve renamed funds across our range, ensuring their names clearly communicate the breadth and depth of their sustainable credentials.

Why SDR matters

The FCA’s Sustainability Disclosure Requirements (SDR) are designed to bring greater transparency and consistency to sustainable investing.

In recent years, the rapid growth of sustainable investing brought with it an increasing risk of greenwashing, making it harder for investors to distinguish between genuine sustainable strategies and those claiming to be. The SDR labels help ensure funds that are truly committed to sustainability can credibly demonstrate that commitment, making it simpler for investors to find high-quality sustainable products.

Sustainability Impact and Sustainability Focus

Every EdenTree fund now either carries a Sustainability Impact or Sustainability Focus label.

Sustainability Impact funds invest in companies whose products, services or activities are designed to deliver positive impacts for people or planet. These funds must demonstrate a clear impact thesis, intentionality and measurable contribution to real-world outcomes.

Sustainability Focus funds invest in assets that meet high standards of environmental or social sustainability through their operations, behaviours and long-term practices. They should apply an evidence-based sustainability screen, demonstrate sustainability benefits and maintain stringent ongoing assessment.

At the heart of this achievement lies the EdenTree Standard, our rigorous, qualitative-led sustainability assessment framework. Across every fund, we seek to identify companies that create value for people, planet and investors.
