We are pleased to have appointed Ed Christian as Church and Charity Investment Director, further strengthening our capabilities as we expand our work with churches and charities across the UK.
In his new role, Ed will draw on two decades of investment and client experience to help organisations navigate their investment requirements and ensure our proposition reflects the needs and priorities of the sector. His arrival is the first of two senior appointments supporting our plans for the church and charity market, with Elizabeth Carter due to join as Head of Church and Charity later in the year.
Ed joins EdenTree following eight years at CCLA Investment Management where, as Client Investment Director, he was responsible for supporting the firm’s Church of England client base alongside a wide range of charities and not-for-profit organisations. Before joining CCLA, Ed spent 12 years at JM Finn, latterly as a Senior Investment Manager. During this time, he managed multi-asset portfolios on behalf of private clients, charities, trusts and small companies. He is Chair of the Investment Committee of leading children’s charity Coram and trustee at the Almshouse Association.
Ed’s appointment forms part of our long-term commitment to the UK church and charity market. As a charity-owned, sustainable asset manager, we are developing our capabilities to support organisations seeking investment partners with a strong understanding of purpose and long-term value creation.
